Designated March 2006.
An area described as "the most complete fighter airfield associated with the Battle of Britain to have survived", making it a battlefield site of particular national historic significance. The conservation area includes a number of scheduled monuments.
The Kenley Aerodrome Supplementary Planning Guidance is produced in conjunction with Tandridge Council.
