Mayor of London and GLA elections:
You will need to bring a photo ID to vote at a polling station in the GLA and Mayoral elections on 2 May.
Our research room is open on Wednesday and Friday by appointment to find out more about the history of Croydon as well as to view any of our archival collections. We hold historic maps, photographs, microform newspapers, electoral rolls, street directories and a wide range of published material.
Our collections contain books, photographs, maps, newspapers and other items that illustrate and reflect the wide and varied history of Croydon, invaluable resources for the study of the past, present and future of Croydon.
All visits are by appointment only. Please contact us by emailing archives@croydon.gov.uk with details of your enquiry and we will confirm that we hold relevant material and provide a link to our booking system. The Research room is currently open on Wednesday and Friday by appointment. Sessions are 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm.
