Report a missed bin collection

If your bin collection is missed, or you have any other problem with the collection, you can report it.

Rubbish and recycling collections are taking place with a reduced workforce, with food and rubbish collections prioritised.

Your collection may be later than usual. If your collection is missed, please leave your bins at your normal collection point. We will try to return soon, but you may have to wait until your next scheduled collection.

You can report your missed bin collection within 2 working days, starting at 6pm on the day of the collection.

    If we missed your collection by mistake

    We will reschedule your collection for the next working day after you report the problem.

    You should check your collection day before you make your report.

    We will not return if the collection was not our mistake, for example if your bin:

    • was not left for collection at the front of your property
    • contained waste that should be in a different bin
    • was over-filled, preventing the lid from closing

    In these cases we will put a tag on your bin to explain why it was not collected. The reason it was not collected will be shown in My Account. You will have to wait for your next collection.

    If you have already reported a missed collection and it was not collected the next day, or you want to dispute the reason given for the non-collection of your bin, use our form.
