To link your council tax account, you will need:

• your first and last name as they appear on your council tax bill (no titles)
• your council tax account number (this can be found on your bill)
• the post code for the property (please make sure there is a space; for example: CR0 1AD)

Using your online account will give you more flexibility, allowing you to access to your information at a time that suits you, from wherever you are.

You're in control

You can update your personal details and tell us when you have a change in circumstances, such as moving house, or a change to the people in your household.

Environmentally friendly

Go green and help the environment by requesting paperless billing. We'll send you an email when your new bill is ready. You can also view your billing history from your online account.

If you have opted for paperless billing, you should have now received a notification that your annual bill is ready to view online.

Please note, if you are jointly liable for Council Tax and not all parties have opted for paperless billing, they will receive a paper bill in the post, in their sole name only.
The online bill will be in the names of all liable parties.

A better way to pay

It's quicker to set up a direct debit for your council tax bill, you can change your bank details at any time, and they'll update immediately.

Direct debit is the easiest way to pay your council tax bill. You can choose from one of four dates to pay, and you only have to set up your payment once. Direct debits can be cancelled at any time.
