Request support for an adult: step by step

Coronavirus/COVID-19 update:

Appointments with adult social care staff are now happening on the telephone. If you had an appointment and haven’t heard from your social worker, call 020 8726 6000.

We provide support for people who are older, disabled, or are in need of support for another reason, so they can stay healthy, active and independent. You can apply for yourself or on behalf of someone you know.

You can tell us about your situation online or on the phone. We'll work together to decide what support will be best, whether it's using one of our services or connecting you to a local community group.

Depending on your income and savings there may be a charge for some types of support.

For urgent help, call 020 8726 6500
