Care homes support plan

Our care homes support plan, showing how care homes have responded to coronavirus and how we and our partners have supported care homes.

Care homes across Croydon have played an important role supporting our vulnerable residents in very challenging circumstances. We are proud of how carers across our 126 care homes have responded.

The council and partners have worked together from the start of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, building on strong work already taking place to support our care homes. We have produced a care home support plan to show:

  • how care homes have responded to the pandemic
  • how we and our partners have supported care homes

We were asked to send a letter on 29 May 2020 detailing our plan for care homes to Minister of State at the Department of Health and Social Care. You can download this letter below.
